Sofia Kaman is the designer and creator of Kamofie fine jewelry- and former treasure hunter. She has been unlocking gem-encrusted dreams from her unconscious for the last decade via wax-carving and metalsmith techniques she learned on her many journeys to self-discovery.

Fascinated by the allure of ancient jewels, the idea that every object tells a story, as well as the beauty of natural forms and textures, Sofia tries to unite an old-world feeling with a modern touch in each of her designs. The result is a collection of jewelry that embodies individuality, style, and beauty with a soulfulness and artistry that sets it apart.

Sofia has been recognized for her designs as a Rising Star at her debut in the 2005 JCK jewelry show, and most recently named as one of the Top 10 "Designers to Watch" by InDesign magazine. Kamofie has been worn by celebrities including Rosario Dawson, Eva Longhoria, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and seen on the pages of fashion magazines such as In Style, Lucky, Glamour, WWD, as well as numerous jewelry trade magazines.

Sofia currently resides in the happily ever after, with her most beloved treasures, her husband Geoff, and daughter Ella.
